it's torturous analytical thoughts make me go insane.
Here is my Donkey Kong cake from a couple of weeks ago. I actually took pictures during assembly for once! A couple of tips:
1. To age the barrel, rub a little cocoa powder into the grain of the wood strips after it is on the cake.
2. If there is a seam between where you are stamping the wood strips, put it right in the middle where a black “metal” strip will hid it.
3. A dab of icing behind the logo will keep it fairly stuck, a couple of toothpicks will keep it for certain, just make sure no one eats them.
4. Add real bananas and slice them up when serving :0)
